Debra joined SGR after spending the majority of her career in Human Resources for both private and public agencies. She takes great pride in helping others through coaching, mentoring, motivating and assisting employees with their journeys. She worked for the City of Chandler, Arizona for 23 years and most recently served as the Assistant City Manager for the last three years prior to her retirement.

Before joining Chandler, Debra worked for a Fortune 200 company in the Northeast and filled various roles in Human Resources, including workforce management information systems, training, and organizational development. In 1993, Debra and her family left those cold winters behind and accepted a transfer to start up a Human Resources Department for the company’s new acquisition in Arizona.

Debra believes in lifelong learning and holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Management from The University of Phoenix and a BS in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

In her spare time Debra enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown children and the family rescue dogs. Debra also likes to read, and stays connected to her local community by volunteering her time on a Homeowners Association Board and with several non-profit organizations.
