As the Senior Director of Executive Operations, Melissa enjoys engaging with clients to help strengthen local government organizations nationwide. She has served in many roles since joining SGR in 2011 while also enjoying the diversity that working for SGR brings. Melissa's passion for serving others has most recently allowed her to work closely with clients in helping place Managers in Transition in cities across the nation in short-term projects. Her goal is to help find projects best suited for the Managers in Transition while ensuring opportunities for future growth and development for the MITs. In her previous venture as a business owner, she led multiple projects successfully while collaborating closely with teams and helping others to succeed in the service industry.

While Abilene, TX, is home, Melissa has enjoyed living near the beaches of Florida and N. Padre Island over the years. She has been married to her husband, Vic, for 23 years and enjoys traveling, cooking, landscaping, and spending time with her grandchildren, Emma and Lua, and their football-fanatic dog, Gussy.
