2009 Membership Dues 

SGR is an alliance of local governments who have come together to offer very high quality training, at a very low cost.  We offer over 50 different classes, including Lead Worker, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service, Supervisory, and Management Series, and a variety of Compliance and Elective classes.  

With over 150 member cities and organizations, we are now the largest training alliance in the nation, and operate 11 different hubs throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Our online training is available to cities nationwide.  Each of our hubs are operated in partnership with a local host city, and are designed to deliver very high quality training at a very low cost within less than a one hour drive of our members.  100% of membership dues are dedicated to ongoing development of curriculum that is specifically designed for the local government environment.  The curriculum sets are also for sale to our members who wish to deliver classes in-house.  

As a member, you are invited to participate in the quarterly regional advisory board meetings to help make sure we are delivering the content you need on a schedule that works.  Please contact Krisa Delacruz if you would like to serve on a regional steering committee at krisa@governmentresource.com. Membership also allows you substantial discounts on training fees for all your employees, and of course, the HR Director or Training Manager is always invited to attend any class for free as part of our quality control and customer feedback strategy.
