A Speech and Communications graduate, Greg has a Master of Arts degree from David Lipscomb University, in Nashville, Tennessee. Greg has addressed crowds ranging from 7 to 7,000 and has authored a number of educational curricula for learners at multiple levels, facilitated in-service training for private and public school systems, lectured at the collegiate level, and trained government employees on a variety of topics at local and state levels.
Greg is currently pursuing a second Master's Degree from Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tennessee. This Master's of Professional Studies has a Concentration in Training and Development, with a Specialization in Distance Learning. Courses of study pertinent to public sector professional development include: Globalization and the Professions, Computer Based Decision Modeling, Evaluation of Learning, Organization Needs Analysis, Instructional Design, Facilitation of Learning, Instructional Design for Electronic Learning, Teaching On Line, and Computer Based Instruction.
In was 2010, Greg was elected County Commissioner for Jackson County, Tennessee.
